You can also take trips to places of interest and towns in the surrounding area. It is not far to the Krkonoše Mountains, the Bohemian Paradise area or Dvůr Králové with its famous zoo. Lovers of history can visit the chateaux of Kuks, Hrubá skála, Hrádek u Nechanic or the castles of Kost and Trosky.

 

 

 

 

Ann’s spa wafers

first appeared in Lázne Bělohrad in the spring of 2004. They soon became a traditional treat for patients and visitors. Two types of Ann’s Peat Spa wafers are sold – hazelnut and chocolate, with each pack weighing 200 grammes. The tasteful design on the wrapper recalls the town’s historic roots and commemorates Bělohrad and its surroundings.

 

 

 

 

The hydrometeorological station in Lázně Bělohrad

is run by the spa. The main aim is to get a regular, wide-scale picture of the weather, so measurements are taken at the same time three times a day. Ann’s Peat Spa is responsible for running the station and the accuracy of the measurements.
