Conditions following operations on the locomotive apparatus
Have you had a spinal operation to treat a slipped disc? Or had an accident followed by an operation? Or had arthroscopy? And do you need structured physiotherapy?
We offer a 28-day course of comprehensive spa care, beginning no later than within 1 year of the operation. After an initial examination by a doctor/specialist you will be assigned an individual treatment plan "tailor-made" to suit your diagnosis. We emphasis an individual approach with the aim of improving the overall condition of the patient, strengthening weakened muscle groups, and improving the mobility of the afflicted parts of the locomotive apparatus. This is done using a variety of physiotherapeutic methods supervised by well-trained physiotherapists – individual therapeutic physical exercises, group therapeutic physical exercises using balls, therapeutic physical exercises in the pool, the Therapy Master method, the Brunkow method, etc. To ease muscle spasms we use mechanotherapy – classic massage, the hydrojet = massage on a water bed, etc., combined with additive, pearl, and hydromassage baths. We use phototherapy to heal operation incisions and scars - laser, Bioptron, and the latest physical therapy technology to alleviate pain (ultrasound, magnetotherapy, interference currents, etc.).
Average number of procedures per day: 3-4 depending on the patient’s condition and tolerance.
